Your 5-Day Adventure Itinerary
Experience a carefully planned journey from Halifax to Sable Island and back
Monday - Departure
- 8:00 AM Arrive at the boat on the Halifax Waterfront
- Safety orientation and embark to the island
- 24 hours at sea - enjoy ocean sailing
Tuesday - Arrive at Sable Island
- 9:00 AM landfall and island arrival
- Tour Main Station area and meet Parks Canada staff
- Lunch in Visitors' Quarters or in the dunes
- Sail to Bald Dune and anchor for the night (weather permitting)
Wednesday - Explore Eastern End
- Discover historic shipwrecks along the shore
- Explore the eastern end of the island
- Observe wild horses and grey seals
- Anchor overnight (weather permitting)
Thursday - Final Exploration & Departure
- Morning exploration of Eastern Spit
- Final wildlife observations and photography
- Depart for Halifax approximately 12:00 PM
Friday - Return to Halifax
- 24 hours at sea returning to Halifax
- Evening arrival in Halifax Harbour
- Disembark with memories of a lifetime
